Roblox might finally be coming to more places, maybe even your TV.
During a recent Q&A, someone asked CEO David Baszucki why Roblox isn’t on cloud gaming platforms like GeForce Now, Amazon Luna, or Xbox Cloud Gaming. They also brought up devices like the Steam Deck and Apple TV. Basically, they asked the question a lot of players have been wondering: when can we just play Roblox anywhere we want?
Baszucki didn’t give a yes or no, but he made it clear that Roblox wants to be on as many platforms as possible. “We do want to be everywhere. We generally want to be native everywhere,” he said.
The most interesting part is he specifically mentioned living room devices. TVs, streaming boxes, that sort of thing. Which honestly makes a lot of sense. Roblox has become more than just a game library. People are using it to watch concerts, hang out with friends, and do all kinds of social stuff. Having it on your TV could turn Roblox into something you just leave on while you’re chilling with friends or family.
And let’s be real, this would make Roblox way easier to play for people who don’t have a gaming PC or a console. Almost everyone has a smart TV now. Being able to turn it on, grab a controller, and jump into a Roblox world sounds ridiculously convenient.
Of course, this isn’t an official announcement. There’s no release date, no big press event. But the fact that the CEO is openly talking about it means it’s probably just a matter of time before we see Roblox in more places.
