If you’ve ever eaten the Pain Fruit in Blox Fruits, you probably know it feels a bit underwhelming at first. Decent damage, but nothing crazy. What a lot of players don’t realize is that the Pain Fruit has hidden abilities locked behind something called the Pain Admin Panel. It’s not obvious, and the process takes some grinding, but once you unlock everything, the fruit becomes way more fun to use.
Here’s how I went through it.
Blox Fruits Pain Admin Panel Guide
Step 1: Get the Pain Fruit
This part’s obvious but worth saying. You can’t even start without the Pain Fruit. You can buy it from the Blox Fruit Dealer for 2,300,000 Beli or 2,200 Robux, or just roll the dice with the Gacha. Personally, I’d try my luck at the Gacha first since it’s cheaper, but if you’re desperate, just fork over the Beli.
Equip it and keep it on you. If you show up without it equipped, the Admin Panel won’t even let you in.
Step 2: Find the Mysterious Scientist
This NPC is the key to everything. Depending on what sea you’re in, the method changes a bit:
- Third Sea: Easy mode. Just go to the Castle on the Sea, walk through the main door, and he’s chilling on the right side.
- Second Sea: More annoying. You have to unlock a hidden path with a color code in Hot and Cold. The code is: Red (1), Blue (3), Green (2), Blue (3). Enter that combo on the panels and the path opens up.
When I first tried the code, I messed it up and thought it was bugged.
Step 3: Access the Admin Panel
Talk to the Mysterious Scientist, and you’ll see the option to open the Admin Panel. If you’re not holding the Pain Fruit, nothing happens. If you are, congrats, you’re in.
Inside the panel, you’ll find a research menu where the Pain Fruit is listed. Click it, and that’s where the grind starts.
Step 4: Complete the Research Tasks
The Admin Panel isn’t just a menu where you pay Fragments and call it a day. It gives you actual tasks you need to complete, and they’re all tied to using the Pain Fruit. Stuff like:
- Defeating specific enemies
- Using Pain Fruit abilities a certain number of times
- Collecting rare drops like Ectoplasm or Nightmare Catchers
A few examples I ran into:
- Farming Reborn Skeletons and Living Zombies at Haunted Castle for Nightmare Catchers
- Hunting Ghost Sharks for Ectoplasm
It can get grindy, but at least the enemies you need are in spots where you’d be farming anyway.
Step 5: Gather Resources and Mastery
Here’s where the numbers come in. To fully max out the Pain Fruit through the Admin Panel, you’ll need:
- 500 Mastery
- 19,000 Fragments
- Plus the extra materials from farming, like Nightmare Catchers and Ectoplasm
Not every upgrade needs the full 500 Mastery. Some are unlocked earlier, but if you want the whole package, that’s the target. The Fragment cost hurts, I won’t lie.
Step 6: Unlock the Hidden Abilities
After grinding through the tasks and paying up the resources, you’ll finally unlock the hidden abilities. There are four in total, and they make the Pain Fruit feel way stronger. A couple examples:
- Fury Jab and Torturing Pulse get buffed with better damage and faster cooldowns
- You unlock a Pain Meter mechanic, which basically makes your moves stronger once the bar is full
It’s not just a small stat boost either. The hidden abilities change the way the fruit feels in combat. Once you’ve maxed it out, Pain actually lives up to its name.
