Want to know everything about RIP Commander Boss in Blox Fruits? If you’ve been online since September 13, you’ve definitely seen the sky turn purple and thought “oh no, what now?” Well, that means Indra is about to ruin your day by summoning the Rip Commander, the big bad of the Week 4 RIP Event. This is basically the “cosmic raid boss” version of Blox Fruits, and honestly, it’s one of the best things the game’s done in a while.
This event is only around until September 19, so if you’re planning to get any of the cool event stuff such as Celestial Helmet, aura skins, celestial Pain Fruits, get them fast.
I’ve fought him more times than I’d like to admit this weekend, and here’s what I’ve learned about RIP Commander Boss in Blox Fruits.
Where and When RIP Commander Boss Spawns in Blox Fruits
The Rip Commander is pretty simple timing-wise as he spawns every hour on the hour (XX:00). You’ll get a server-wide message like “Indra summons the Rip Commander from the celestial void…” and the whole sky will go full cosmic storm.

He doesn’t spawn in the regular world though. You have to head into this weird cosmic battlefield and if you don’t make it in time, he despawns in about 15-20 minutes.
Pro tip: use portals or a fast fruit (Light/Dark) to get there quick. If you’re late, half the server will already be beating him up and you’ll barely get credit.
RIP Commander Boss Requirements and Moves in Blox Fruits
This guy is not a pushover. He’s level 5000, which puts him right up there with rip_indra True Form. Think big HP bar, constant AoE spam, and mechanics that force you to stay on your toes.
Stuff to expect:
- Celestial Nuke — this is the giant black bomb thing. It will one-shot you if you just stand there. Keep Observation Haki up and move.
- Void Slash + Teleport — he loves teleporting behind you and slashing. It feels like he’s using a cracked Dark Blade.
- Bloodbane Drain — this one’s annoying. If you’re too close for too long, he heals off your HP. Don’t let him do that.
- Astral Summons — he calls in weird little star creatures to annoy you. They’re not hard, but they can mess you up if you ignore them.
- And yeah, he bypasses elemental immunity, so don’t rely on “lol I’m Light fruit, he can’t hit me.” He can and will.
When he hits half HP, Phase 2 kicks in and everything speeds up. More summons, more nukes, more pain.
How To Defeat The Boss

First off don’t solo this unless you’re a monster. You really want at least 3-5 players, preferably people who know what they’re doing. Discord voice chat helps a ton.
Here’s what’s been working for me and my crew:
- Buddha main tank — one person goes Buddha, grabs aggro, and just spams M1s.
- Gas fruit stun lock — Gas can basically lock the boss down forever with M1 + Vapor Condensation if you walk backward while attacking.
- Ice/Dark/Dough/Control users — these are great for keeping him from teleporting too much and just chunking him safely.
- Accessories — I run Swan Glasses or Pilot Helmet for the damage boost. Max Aura Stage 5 is mandatory.
- Positioning — lure him toward walls or edges. The less room he has to teleport around, the easier it is to keep him locked down.
If you’re soloing, be at least level 2500, use Buddha, and play hit-and-run. Don’t get greedy.
Rewards
Here’s why you even bother:
- Celestial Tokens — the main event currency. You can get 500-2000 per kill depending on how much damage you did.
- Bounty/Honor — great for bounty grinders, I’ve seen 100k+ gains per kill.
- Rare drops — Dark Dagger (1% chance), event materials, even some puzzle items tied to Tushita.
- EXP and Money — not bad, but honestly you’re here for tokens and loot.
Once he’s dead, something cool happens; astral fishing spots spawn nearby. This is when you whip out your fishing rod and catch celestial fish to brew potions for buffs. Those potions make your next fight easier or give you token multipliers, so it’s all part of the grind loop.
The Rip Commander is probably the hardest boss in Blox Fruits right now. He’s tougher than the Red Commander because he’s faster and has that Bloodbane heal that punishes melee spam. The first time I fought him, I died like five times and barely got any tokens. By my third or fourth fight, I was actually contributing decent damage and getting full token payouts.
If you’re underleveled, don’t bother trying to carry. Go farm levels first or you’ll just feed him health with Bloodbane. But if you’re ready for it, this fight is super fun and really rewarding once you figure out how to keep him controlled.
Just remember this event’s over on September 19. Farm him every hour if you can and stockpile those tokens. You do not want to be the guy logging in on September 20 with 8000 tokens and no way to spend them.
