So the Jungle Echoes quest just dropped and I’ve got to say, this one is surprisingly chill. No boss fights, no annoying jumping puzzles, no running around collecting random plants. It’s just fishing. Five rare bones, all pulled out of the water if you’re patient enough. Here’s how I did it and where to go so you don’t waste time.
How To Start Jungle Echoes Quest in Fisch
Sail over to the Jungle Echoes point of interest. The coordinates are (-3120, 142, -1153) if you want to be exact. It’s a bit past Sunstone Island and Roslit Bay.
There’s a Jungle Adventurer NPC hanging out right in the middle of the island. Talk to them, pick “Ask what do I need?” and boom — you’re officially bone hunting.
Technically you can use anything but if you don’t want to sit there for hours, grab something quick like the Seraphic Rod, No-Life Rod, or Zeus Rod.
There are no weird time requirements, no “only at night” or “only when it’s raining.” You just fish. You’ll catch normal fish while you wait which at least keeps your inventory stocked.
Where I Found Each Bone in Fisch Jungle Echo Update
Here’s where I fished them up. I’ll give you the exact spots but also how it felt doing them, because some were a pain and some were a breeze.
Bone Locations #1 – Mossjaw Skull
Forsaken Shore, little pond right by the waterfall at (-2674, 166, 1757).
Huang stands nearby talking about bones which is a fun little hint. This one took me the longest — I was just staring at a pond for like 20 minutes straight.
Bone Locations #2 – Mossjaw Jaw
Moosewood, the pond next to the rod shop, coordinates (412, 135, 193).
Super quick and easy. Maryana across from the Shipwright mentions something about ducklings being scared and it’s basically right there.
Bone Locations #3 – Mossjaw Spine
Tiny island near Sunstone with a single tree on it. The coordinates are (-749.7, 136.3, -1255) or (-749.7, 136.3, -1339.3) depending which side you fish from.
Erika stands nearby talking about fossils. This one was honestly the nicest because the view is great and it feels cozy fishing on a tiny island.
Bone Locations #4 – Mossjaw Scapula
Mushgrove Swamp, the pond near the Carrot Guy in the middle of the swamp at (2601, 131, -715).
Owen will hint about a fossil being nearby. The terrain here is annoying so watch your footing or you’ll slip into the water like I did.
Bone Locations #5 – Mossjaw Tail
Roslit Bay, right under the big central bridge at (-1726, 155, 402).
Carn basically tells you there’s a fossil under the bridge so just park yourself there. This was the fastest bone for me, got it after a few casts.
When you’ve got all five bones, sail back to the Jungle Echoes island and hand them to the Jungle Adventurer. You get a Spearhead Bobber, 20 Stag Beetle Bait, a Vinefang Rod and the Bone Prospector title. Plus it adds an entry to your Bestiary if you’re collecting those.
